Anyone who saw Toše in concert remembers how he closed: "Ve sakam site" — Macedonian for "I love you all." It was his signature phrase, said to crowds from Skopje to Zagreb, and it has become the unofficial motto of his fans.

On the walls of the Memorial House
When the Toše Proeski Memorial House opened in Kruševo on 25 April 2011, its designers covered the interior walls with words from his songs and with that phrase, translated into more than one hundred languages. Visitors walk along the walls looking for their own language — a small, personal moment inside a very public museum.
Why it matters to fans
- It is his own words. Unlike lyrics, which belong to their writers, this was something he said directly to his audience.
- It fits his public life. A UNICEF ambassador who held charity concerts across the country, he was known for warmth with fans of every age.
- It crosses borders. He sang in six languages, and the translations on the wall echo that.
A respectful way to use it
Fans write the phrase on candles, cards and banners on anniversaries, and that is part of the tradition. Two requests from the board team:
- Do not use it to sell merchandise in a way that suggests a connection to the family or the museum.
- Do not attach it to song lyrics you post online — we never reproduce lyrics, and we ask members not to either.
Your language
If you have visited and found — or did not find — your language on the wall, tell us through the contact page. We collect visitors' notes for the Memorial House page.
