Toše was a singer first, but he turned up in some unexpected places on screen and on the page. Here is what is documented.
The Peacemaker (1997)
As a teenager he was an uncredited extra, singing in a choir, in the Hollywood thriller The Peacemaker, released in 1997. Fans enjoy spotting him; it is a small footnote, but a real one.
Zabranjena ljubav (2006)
In 2006 he recorded "Srce nije kamen" in Croatian as the opening theme for the Croatian soap opera Zabranjena ljubav ("Forbidden Love"), with lyrics by Antonija Šola. He also appeared in one episode of the series, playing a character named Boško Cutić.

Super Toše (2005)
In 2005 a Macedonian comic book called Super Toše presented a fictionalised version of him as a superhero. It says something about his popularity with children at the time.
The Hardest Thing (2009)
Two years after his death, a documentary about the end of his life, Toše Proeski: The Hardest Thing, was released together with the posthumous album of the same name.
Ova ne e kraj (2014)
The journalist Sonja Aleksoska Nedelkovska published a biographical book titled Ova ne e kraj — "This Is Not the End" — in 2014.
The Memorial House monograph
A year after the Memorial House opened in 2011, a monograph about the museum was published and presented by the then minister of culture.
Coming projects
North Macedonia's Ministry of Culture and Tourism has announced a feature film, a documentary and a television series about his life, and in 2025 Macedonian Radio Television ran a competition for filmmakers interested in the project. We will add details here only when they are officially confirmed.
