National Arena Toše Proeski, Skopje.
The National Arena Toše Proeski is North Macedonia's largest stadium, with a capacity of just over 33,000. It is the home ground of the national football team and of the Skopje clubs Vardar and Rabotnički, and it also hosts concerts and athletics.
For fans it has a double meaning: Toše gave his last big concert here on 5 October 2007, and since 2019 the stadium has carried his name.
The stadium was known as the City Park Stadium until 2009 and as the Philip II Arena until 2019. On 9 April 2019 the government renamed it the National Arena Toše Proeski.
The original design dates from 1975. A major reconstruction began in 2008 with new north, south, west and east stands, a rebuilt pitch and an eight-lane athletics track; the work was completed in 2013 with an illuminated outer façade. The stadium hosted the 2017 UEFA Super Cup.
The 2007 charity concert, co-organised by USAID and the Ministry of Education for school reconstruction, drew more than 25,000 people.
